Aah the luxury.
I am on doctor's orders to lay on my butt this week and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I should have surgery more often! I am, however, dying to play a show again and we'll be back in action next week. Meanwhile, we are working on lots of new songs and, for you fellow IPod freaks, getting our songs up on a download site.

OH NO, NOT AGAIN!
Last night I was putting some stuff in the basement - and there he scurried across the floor - a centipede. As you know, I totally hate centipedes - I ran and grabbed a broom to crush him with and he was gone. He better be killing spiders or something.

Happy belated thanksgiving! We had a great weekend, except now the kids think that they can sleep in until 9:00 am every morning (or maybe that's just me). I'm sure getting them up for school today is not gonna be easy. On another note, my 5 year old daughter has become obsessed with Scott Joplin... yes, the ragtime guy. She's been visiting this educational website www.starfall.com, where you can listen to Mozart, Beethoven, Scott Joplin, etc. She is continuously visiting the site, and she goes right to the "ragtime" section and listens to the 5 songs that Joplin wrote. In addition, I have to play "The Entertainer" for her at least twice a day, and she dances as I play. I guess I shouldn't complain... at least she's not asking to listen to Brittany Spear's songs all day.

OH MY ACHING BACK!! I put up the Christmas tree today - I hate putting the lights on it. After I struggled with the lights and put the whole tree together - I found another box of lights and I tried to put more on as the girls were putting on the ornaments. What a mess! Then my cousin comes over and says the tree looks crooked!! Oh well, I am leaving it alone now - I will just fill it up with more stuff and hopefully it will even out.

What a fun day!! The kids had a 1/2 day of school and Starburst came over with 4 more kids and we put together a 500 piece puzzle of the USA. After they left, my kids had to go outside and play in the snow. They set a box lid on the front lawn and are waiting for it to fill up with snow!!

Okay - I have to admit - I missed the blog and I am glad to be back. Some things that have happened recently that are funny: Rebecca pulled her own first tooth out by hooking dental floss to her loose tooth and attaching the other end to the door knob. Then she shut the door and her tooth fell out. I thought that only happened in the movies???
