CANDY BAND CONCERT ALERT!!! This Friday night - we are playing at Addams Elementary School on Webster in Royal Oak. Concert is open to the public and we are performing some of those new songs again that we will be recording!!! $2 admission fee and our pals at Del Taco will be there serving up some nachos and tacos!!! Wow - Candy Band played two shows at an all-kindergarten elementary school in Saline, Michigan today. We played one before lunch and one after lunch. Almond Joy forgot to bring the sound system power system (left it sitting on her family room floor - ddduuuhhhh!) so the custodian came up with one and became our soundman!!! Yeahhh - what a trooper he was!!! We didn't have the lunch in the picture - instead we went to a cool pub in Saline and had stuffed portabellas, salads, salmon burgers and cheese-beer soup!!! Yummy - and thanks Houghton Elementary!! We had a blast and your kids are really wonderful!! xoxo A.Joy

Almond Joy alert!! I will be performing some new Candy Band songs and jamming with my pal Mr. Seley at the Magic Stick on Sunday Afternoon. Doors open at 3pm and we hit the stage around 4pm - be there!!!!! xoxo A.Joy

Got the call at 6:30am that school was cancelled. I love how it wakes me up earlier than I would normally get up!! The wind chill factor in the Detroit area is 15 below zero!!! I just stepped outside to get my paper - and woweee wow wow!! I can't believe the paper lady even came today THANK YOU!! Rock on and stay warm!!! xoxo bbbrrrr A.Joy

Wow - our gig at Northwood was wild and crazy - they never let us down at that school - I think punk rock kids are born and bred there!! Anyways, we debuted some songs that we are working and the "Monkey Song" is a hands-down hit!! Alot of people told me their kids were still singing it the next day!! I cannot wait to record that one - maybe we'll put this little baby on the cover of our new CD!!! xoxo A.Joy
