Wow - went to a fun concert tonite!! I took my kids to see Mr. Seley at the Royal Oak Library. At the end of the concert he had the audience write a song and he recorded it and will post it on his website - he rocks!! Really great songs!!! Thanks for being you Mr. Seley!! Blast from my past!!! I just got this pic last night off the Roomates MySpace page. Ths is a picture of one of the first bands that I was ever in (I am in the back right). I was about 18 years old in this picture. I am standing next to the world famous drummer Steve Sorter (RIP). Doug Podell is in the front next to our singer Beaux Mitchell. Sindi is on bass, Howard on Sax and Bassoon and Guy Gehlert on guitar (left). We just got off stage at a gig at Pine Knob (now the DTE Energy Music Theatre)!!! Crazy!! xoxo A.Joy

Congratulations to my brother Brady and his wife, Amy. They had a baby girl, Madelyn, on June 26th. Welcome Mady!

We've been vacationing in Saugatuck, MI. Have you ever taken a Dune Ride? It's like a rollercoaster on sand. The driver's CRAZY, and the views of Lake Michigan are awesome. So far my kid's favorite things to do in Saugatuck are as follows: Dune Rides, Go Cart racing, bungee jumping (on a trampoline) and rock climbing. If you get a chance this summer, take a trip to Lake Michigan.

Maggie and I played at the Stars and Stripes Festival in Mt. Clemens. We were billed as "Playdate". It was fun and always crazy when the two of us get together!!! Come and check us out at the Howell Melon Festival in August!!! xoxo A.Joy
