My daughter got a Bratz alarm clock for her birthday (obviously not the one in the picture, I couldn't find a pic of the one she rec'd). The first time I set it, she slept through it!! Go figure!! Yesterday she set it by accident and it went off and woke me up at 11pm. I couldn't find the stupid thing. I didn't want to turn her light on (she was sound asleep - go figure!!). My husband came home and found it - thanks R!! Next time she sees this clock it will be when she spends the night at Aunt Cheryls house (she is the one who bought it for her). I will secretly set it for 3am and hide it in her suitcase!! xoxo A.Joy

Today we are playing in Trenton at "Lemonade in the shade" - I hope we play in the shade!! Show time is 3:30 and it is at the Treton Cultural Center on West Road. Should be fun!!! Speaking of fun - thanks to everyone that came out to our concert at the Detroit Zoo last night. I believe there was a record setting crowd and we had screaming kids 12 deep in the front of the stage. Always a blast to play there - can't wait till next year!! xoxo A.Joy

Yesterday (Sunday) I finally met Iggy Pop. He has been a huge influence on my sound (as the same with 1000 other bands!!) He was so nice, he gave me the time of day (and his skin was so soft!!!). Candy Band just played at Lollapalooza in Chicago. There are so many more pictures to post and they are coming. Right before this we were at the Henry Ford - and what a blast that was!! . We had a great time at Lollapalooza... I think I'm the first one back in town, so I'll add my two cents. Our Sunday performance was so fun, we had a huge crowd... thanks to the fact that Ben Harper was playing the kids stage after us! The weather was HOT, the place was packed, and fun was had by all. We had lots of "rock star sightings". Here's a picture of a couple of our Candy Band kids with Karen O from the Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs!
