We played a show at the Detroit Derby Girls roller hockey game last night. It was so much fun! Roller hockey is awesome... I think we may have spawned a new crop of 8 - 12 year old female roller hockey enthusiasts (our daughters). If you have a chance, check out the next event. I think they play monthly. Last night's match was a sell out. Oh, and Almond Joy rocked the national anthem... great job!

Today I spent the day at school with a mime that I booked for a cultural arts performance. Pictured here is the world famous Marcel Marceau - but our mime's name was Toma. He actually studied with MM in Paris!! He was awesome and I have been practicing my "wall" moves ever since I came home. Silence can be golden - but not at a Candy Band show! See ya at the Roller Derby Saturday!!! Get your tix in advance, I hear it sells out!! xoxo A.Joy

Wow - guess who's hair this is (not mine!!). Abe Lincoln. We went to the Plymouth Historical Museum over winter break to see the special exhibit on Honest Abe and lo and behold - they had some of his hair. It was clipped right after he was shot :(

Amazing yes?? xoxo A.Joy
