I LOVE THE DETROIT ZOO!!! Candy Band just played 4 shows in 26 hours at the zoo. We performed in the brand spanking new Ford Educational Center. It is the most beautiful building!! There was a puppet show, free hot cocoa, carnival games, face painting and of course Candy Band concerts. I visited with the polar bears and saw the wolverines "acting up for the camera". It was a glorious weekend and I want to thank everyone who came out. The zoo is a great place to go in the winter time - alot of animals are out enjoying the fresh air and the ones that are in their houses - you can see the up closer than ever.
